Dine Oceanside at These Waterfront Restaurants in Virginia Beach

On a warm night, there's nothing better than enjoying a delicious meal while taking in spectacular views. If that sounds good to you, Virginia Beach is home to several waterfront restaurants that offer an evening to remember. Try out these spots near our apartments in Virginia Beach.

Rockafeller's

Family-owned, Rockafeller's partners with local farmers and fishermen to serve fresh, flavorful dishes. On the cozy patio, you can watch as the boats come into the marina. It also offers the perfect place to enjoy the sunset while catching up with old friends. Offerings include Chesapeake Bay burgers, double decker fish tacos, and paella-crusted chicken sandwiches.

Rudee's Restaurant & Cabana Bar

Overlooking the Rudee Inlet, Rudee's became a Virginia Beach favorite in 1983. Today, it gains recognition from the Food Network and is one of the city's highest-rated restaurants. Rudee's resembles a Coast Guard station, and on a beautiful evening, the patio always draws a crowd. Menu offerings include fried oyster sandwiches, filet mignon, and Alaskan snow crab legs. Enjoy dinner with a signature cocktail like the Cabana Crusher or The Rudee Runner.

Tulu Seaside Bar & Grill

Tulu serves healthy food and refreshing drinks right on the beach. The chefs source fresh, local ingredients. Their dishes burst with memorable flavors and pair well with the bartender's inventive cocktails. Dinner offerings include jerk chicken sandwiches, mixed mushroom pizzas, and slow-roasted prime rib. Round out your meal with a pineapple sage margarita and the chocolate avocado pudding for dessert.

Before dinner at waterfront restaurants in Virginia Beach, enjoy an afternoon at the Virginia Aquarium & Marine Science Center. It’s where you’ll see everything from jellyfish to harbor seals. When you are ready to call The Apartments at Spence Crossing home, please contact us. We’ll gladly show you everything you can enjoy as a resident of our apartments near Tidewater Community College.
